Ettalong Events |
Every September, Ettalong beach hosts the Brisbane Water Oyster Fest, which is a day of food, wine tasting, live music and of course oysters. There will also be a search for the "Queen of the Oyster Festival" and the proceeds will benefit a charity.
Kids can enjoy amusement rides and frolics for the day from clowns, with free face paint and balloons. Hot rod fans are going to have a dream ride at the vintage car exhibition featuring European models from the Central Coast. This year too will see a start of a competition for the best oysters in Ettalong.
